Concrete Curbing Forms
Plastic Forms Plastic forms come in many models and sizes. The lengths of the polyforms are reinforced with aluminum tubes providing the forms with rigidity of 2x4. Normally the inside channel of all forms is same and accepts three types of stake pocket. The form is outfitted with special TWIST pocket, which provides multiple stacking options that can be easily inserted at any location along the length of the form. This unique pocket can be attached both before and after the forms are set to grade. The Slide pocket is inserted at the end of the poly form. The Slide stake facilitates longitudinal adjustment to any desired staking position. It also provides with extra reinforcement at the joint and convenient connection to wood with predrilled nail holes. The poly form is outfitted with one more pocket called as Stacking. It is slide type pocket, which allows poly forms to be stacked to achieve height of 8, 10, and 12 in. Poly forms are available in both flexible and straight style. In a straight poly form in the end connection, the reinforcing tubes are "offset". They also function as a rigid alignment between forms. In a flexible poly form there is no reinforcement and the tubes can be bent to achieve any curve down to a 3' radius. The end connection is outfitted with short polyethylene inserts, which provide flexible alignment between forms. Steel Forms Steel forms come in various models for all types of curb and gutter works. They are available in heights from 4in to 7 1/2in in 12-gauge steel, and from 4in to 24in in 10-gauge steel. Straight flatwork forms are available in standard 10 foot lengths with either 2in or 4in bases. You can also obtain shorter length but on request. Straight flat work forms are available with 2 or 3 pockets on upto height of 12in. For forms with height more than 12in, they are outfitted with 3 pockets. Most forms especially manufactured by a reputed manufacturer come with 1year warranty from the date purchase to be free of defects in materials and workmanship.
