Badminton is very thrilling and gripping game. Children simply love the game of badminton. Fixing the net and building the court for badminton would just add value to your backyard. Where and when to play the badminton

Badminton is a very unusual recreational activity, largely due to the fact that it is one of the few games that can be played at any time and in any weather. A lot of people play it for fitness and few for fun. Although it is not being played in the house, it is termed as indoor game. That is because it cannot be played in open area. The major accessories of the game are racket, shuttle and net. The shuttle is being tossed by the players on the either sides of the net with their racket. This is the basic game. The shuttle that is being used is very light. It could change the direction of soaring in air just by breeze. That is the reason that this being played in the closed area.

General objectives and rule of the game

1. The fundamental rule of the game is to hit the shuttlecock back and forth over a net without permitting it to hit the floor. Even if it does hit to the floor it should be in bounds sides of the net.
2. Player should not touch the net with a racket or body during game.
3. Shuttle should not come to rest or be carried on the racket.
4. Shuttlecock can hit the net on its way across during game and the players can continue.
5. Player should not reach over the net to hit the shuttle. Loss of serve is a side out.
